Dayton came home from work today and told me that one of his buddies from work shot himself last night! Apparently, on purpose. He is in the hospital now so D~ went to visit and see if there's anything we can do. No word about his status yet... I am stunned! We never really know what's going on with those around us! May God bless their family and bring healing to the situation that caused him to take such drastic action!
Lord you are gracious and compassionate in all things; Your mercy endures forever! Grant peace and restoration to this family and draw them into you warm embrace! Lift this man out of the desperation which has overwhelmed him, redeem his self-inflicted injury and fill his heart with love and gratitude.
